Job Description

The VP, Strategy defines daily functional management of client needs and lead the day to day work of the Strategy team. You will report to either the SVP or EVP of Strategy within the HCP group.

  • You will serve as one of the HCP Media Strategy experts on one to multiple critical clients
  • You will lead and oversee HCP the media strategy
  • You will possess in-depth understanding of the role of media channels in a plan
  • You will further develop your expertise in different media research tools
  • You will manage a team of direct and a larger team of indirect reports managing them in:
    • Onboarding
    • Performance Management’
    • Provide training processes and tools
    • Manage and delegate team workload
    • Coach team to achieve client and agency requests
  • You will manage multiple accounts and will transition between them conducting the following activities:
    • You will be accountable to the team’s deliverables and outcomes
    • You will provide the initial feedback on media strategies, timelines, and deliverables in partnership with other teams
    • You will provide input to client to help shape their marketing priorities
    • You will develop a daily relationship with appropriate clients on assigned brands
    • You will oversee overall media strategy, approach, and plan on each account
    • You will manage the media channel mix and initial budget allocation & rationale
    • You will represent the interests of other capability teams in client and agency partner meetings
  • You will collaborate with internal leaders to ensure strategic agreement of deliverables with client needs
  • Push for continuous improvement of self, team, and client deliverables

Qualifications

  • 10+ years media advertising experience
  • 6+ years HCP Media Strategy Experience, 2+ years of current HCP experience
  • 5+ years people management experience
  • 4-5+ years experience managing direct client relationships

Compensation Range: $121,000 - $175,000. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the qualifications of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. For this role, we will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
