#PHMLove Joins Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia Parkway Run & Walk

In September 2024, #PHMLove, the community outreach arm of our agency, joined Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia for their annual Parkway Run & Walk, a 5K run/2K walk that raises funds for breakthrough pediatric cancer research and care at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. #PHMLove has long been a rallying cry at our agency, whether calling out a job well done or bringing together teams across offices to join in philanthropic efforts. On the heels of our support of non-profit F*ck Cancer over the last two years, the announcement of our collective support of the pediatric cancer researchers at CHOP brought out our teams in full force.

CHOP is a leader in pediatric care, recognized nationally for its expertise and significant breakthroughs. Closer to home, its right in the backyard of our HQ and many in our Philly community have close personal connections to the Hospital, with spouses and friends delivering care, our children receiving care and even some of our own having been treated at the Cancer Center in years past.

So, on a blustery Sunday morning, PHMers (and some of our Publicis Health colleagues!) rose (very) early to walk and run in support of this institution – cheering on some seriously adorable patient ambassadors who have so bravely faced down cancer with caregivers by their sides.

As a culmination of weeks of fundraising, at the Run & Walk we announced PHM and its staff members raised more than $23,000 for the Cancer Center. A step in the right direction, but the path forward is long. We so look forward to continuing our support of CHOP in the years to come.

Thank you to the partners, friends and colleagues who supported us!
